FAQs
What Vaccinations Are Required?
Proof of current core vaccinations - canine parvovirus, distemper, canine hepatitis and rabies - from your vet before or at the time of service. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is also recommended. Proof must be paper or digital verification from your veterinarian - a rabies tag is not sufficient. If needed, Tailored Tails can contact your Veterinarian to confirm current shot records. '
***Puppies are required to have begun their first round of vaccinations, have the rest scheduled with your veterinarian.
***If your pet is exempt from vaccines due to medical reasons please discuss that with us when you contact us, we may need to verify with your veterinarian for further information.
How Old Must A Pet Be To Get Groomed?
Puppies and Kittens should be started on our Luxury Bath Package at eight weeks or older. It is important to take the time to teach them at a slow steady pace so we are able to build their confidence and establish a trusting relationship with their groomer.
Do You Groom Cats?
Yes, we offer both luxury bathing and full tailoring packages for our feline friends. Services are dependent on the cats coat condition and temperament. Call for more information and to schedule a meet and greet session!
Do You Groom Elderly Pets?
Absolutely! Senior pets must be evaluated on an individual basis and may require more information from your veterinarian so we can perform the safest and highest quality comfort care for your pet.
Do You Groom Large Dogs?
Yes, we do. Our equipment can easily support dogs up to 220lbs
Do You Offer De-Matting Services?
At Tailored Tails Luxury Pet Spa your pets comfort is our highest priority. De-matting with brushing can often be uncomfortable for your pet and in some cases impossible, therefore we avoid de-matting in this manner. Speak with us and we can evaluate the severity of the coat’s condition and we will discuss with you the best options for your furry friend.
What Types of Payments Do You Accept?
Tailored Tails will be accepting payments of cash, card, tap-to-pay, and some electronic payment options.
